Terms of Use — Compoundrix

The licence

Compoundrix for Mac and Compoundrix for iPhone, and the Compoundrix Pro subscription, are distributed through Apple's App Store. Your use of them is governed by Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”), together with the points below. Where they differ, the Standard EULA prevails.

Builds distributed through TestFlight are also subject to Apple's TestFlight terms, and are pre-release software that may contain errors.

Compoundrix Pro

Compoundrix Pro is an auto-renewing subscription. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase.
It renews automatically at the same price and length unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before the period ends.
You can manage or cancel it in your Apple Account's subscription settings. Refunds are handled by Apple.
If the subscription ends, sync stops. The data on your devices stays as it is and remains yours.

Not financial advice

Compoundrix is a record-keeping and calculation tool. Its figures, projections and estimates — including financial-independence figures, property valuations from indices and investment returns — are computed from the data you enter and from third-party data that may be delayed, incomplete or wrong. They are not financial, tax, legal or investment advice. Check anything important against your own statements before you act on it.

Your data

Your ledger belongs to you and stays on your devices and in your own iCloud; see the Privacy Policy. You are responsible for keeping backups. The app makes them automatically, but we cannot recover data we never had.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, the app is provided “as is”, as set out in the Standard EULA. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the law of the country where you live.

Data sources

The app fetches public data to price assets and convert currencies. It does not redistribute that data; it uses it to show you figures about your own holdings.

Prices from Yahoo Finance. Compoundrix is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Yahoo. Prices are daily closes and may be delayed or unavailable.
